The Cyber Houston scholarship supports students pursuing a degree in cybersecurity or a related field, so the cost of school is not what stops the region’s next defenders.

Applicants are asked to show financial need and prior academic performance, and to describe their commitment to cybersecurity, their career goals, and their community involvement.

02 — How recipients are chosen
Reviewed by people who know education and the field.
Applications are reviewed by Cyber Houston staff and a scholarship committee that includes people with experience in education, under the direction of the board of directors. Selection is based on the criteria above and the eligibility requirements published with each cycle.
